A man wanted on a charge of rape was arrested Tuesday, January 23 after deputies from the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence located in the 2700 East block of County Road 450 South on a call concerning a harassment complaint.
Prior to arrival, deputies confirmed that the caller, 28-year-old Kyle S. Terusiak, was wanted on a warrant involving a charge of rape as a Level 3 Felony. The warrant was issued following an investigation that began November 12, 2023. Members of the Warrants Division have been since looking for Terusiak.
When officers arrived at the residence, Terusiak was taken into custody and is currently being held in the La Porte County Jail on a $25,005 cash-only bond through La Porte County Circuit Court.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
