Today (Wednesday, January 10) is the first day to file for local offices in the County Clerk’s Offices.
In Starke County, candidates can file for Surveyor, Treasurer, three At-Large seats on the Starke County Council, Starke County Commissioner District 1, Starke County Commissioner District 3, Republican Precinct Committeemen, and Republican and Democrat State Convention Delegates.
Clerk Bernadette Manuel said all candidate forms are available on the county’s website and a link is provided here. Those forms may be filed in the Clerk’s Office when complete.
In Pulaski County, candidates can file for Circuit Court Judge, Superior Court Judge, Auditor, Recorder, Treasurer, County Commissioner District 1, County Commissioner District 2, three At-Large seats on the County Council, Medaryville Clerk-Treasurer, Medaryville Town Council At-Large, Winamac Clerk-Treasurer, Winamac Town Council, Republican Precinct Committeemen, and Democrat and Republican State Convention Delegates. Forms may be completed in the Pulaski County Clerk’s temporary office at 117 E. Main Street in Winamac.
The filing window ends Friday, February 9 at noon local time.
