A driver sustained minor injuries in an accident Thursday, February 1 at 6:18 a.m. CT in the area of U.S. 35 and 300 N. in Starke County.
According to the Starke County Sheriff’s Office, the driver, 33-year-old Christopher Hess, told police that he was traveling north on U.S. 35 when his vehicle began to slide. It continued to slide when it eventually rolled over and came to rest in a field. Hess was transported to Northwest Health for his injuries.
The Knox-Center Township Fire Department, Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Department, Knox City Police Department and Starke County EMS all responded to the scene.
