Hamlet Town Council to Hold Public Hearing Concerning Water Project

The Hamlet Town Council members will open a public hearing Wednesday, February 28 to gather comments on a Preliminary Engineering Report to obtain assistance from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program.

Representatives from Triad Associates, Inc. will present information on the recommended project which includes the replacement and installation of water main loop and the replacement of water meters. The project will be funded through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program.

A copy of the Preliminary Engineering Report is available for public viewing now through March 4 at the Hamlet Town Hall.

In addition to public comments given during next week’s Hamlet Town Council meeting, written comments may be submitted through March 4 and sent to the Hamlet Town Hall.

The Hamlet Town Council will meet Wednesday, February 28 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Hamlet Town Hall at 10 South Starke Street.
