The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members approved action to release school early for the solar eclipse event April 8, according to Superintendent Kelly Shepherd.
“We can get our students home in time in case they and their families want to travel a little bit further south to be able to get a better viewing of that eclipse,” said Shepherd.
Additionally, the board approved two make-up days due to weather. The first make-up day was already held Monday, February 19 and the second day was approved for May 24.
