Pulaski County Health Department Distributes Toothbrush Kits

The Pulaski County Health Department was able to distribute toothbrush kits to students in the Pulaski County School Systems thanks to an initiative promoting oral health among children in the region.

The goal in the initiative, “Hoosiers: Give Kids a Smile”, is to empower children with the knowledge and resources needed to maintain excellent oral health.

The Pulaski County Health Department is a participant in this initiative and students in the Eastern Pulaski Elementary School in Winamac and in the West Central School Corporation have toothbrush kits to help the program’s initiative. Dr. Perry Wainman was also instrumental in the distribution of the kits.

There are more toothbrush kits available at the Pulaski County Health Department if community members would like to get them for their children. Call 574-946-6080 for more information.
