The Town of Winamac has lifted the freeze warning for water customers.
Water customers had been under the advisement since Friday, January 12 when temperatures fell well below freezing. The warning was implemented to help homeowners prevent frozen utilities during the cold spell.
Questions may be directed to the Winamac Town Hall at 574-946-3451.
Meanwhile, the Town of North Judson is still urging utility customers to keep water running water run from a faucet, preferably a bathtub, in the size of a pencil lead. This will not only keep pipes from freezing, but also help keep the town’s water lines running smoothly for water access.
