The Town of Winamac plans to apply for a Master Utility Planning Grant.
Winamac Town Manager Brad Zellers stated an income survey was recently completed in order to qualify to apply for the $100,000 grant, of which the town will need to contribute $10,000 for a match.
The grant will help the town identify water, wastewater and storm water needs for the town for the next 10 years.
The application is due by May 17.
The council members will need to score Request for Qualification forms from engineers to determine the firm to assist with the process. Those responses are due by March 3.
