A Knox man was arrested Sunday, March 24 after Plymouth Police Department officers and Plymouth EMS were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident at 3:16 a.m. ET on U.S. 30 west of Oak Drive in Plymouth.
Upon arriving at the scene, police say a Ford Fusion was found in the ditch on the south side of U.S. 30. During the investigation, it was discovered that the driver, 20-year-old Kole McIntire, of Knox, was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, according to the report. He was allegedly over twice the legal limit.
McIntire was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment, operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15 or greater, illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage, and minor in possession of alcohol.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
