The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members took action last month to approve summer school programs, according to Superintendent Kelly Shepherd.
“There will be some remediation at the lower levels and then the Junior/Senior High School does a supervised Ag Experience class,” commented Shepherd.
Additionally, the board approved a revised quote for three new 78-passenger school buses from Midwest Transit in the amount of $413,130.
Lastly, Shepherd said the Elementary School will benefit from a literacy grant.
Shepherd stated, “Our Elementary Principal Amy Bright has secured a Literacy Cadre Grant through the Department of Education which is going to help us supply a literacy coach for the next two years at our Elementary School.”
