The North Judson-San Pierre School Board will be looking at completing some building projects this summer, according to Superintendent Kelly Shepherd.
“Our Middle School building is the one that needs the most updates,” explained Shepherd. “We’re going to get all new flooring in our Middle School, a lot of painting projects are going to take place in that Middle School building, it’s due to get quoted for potentially new bleachers in our gymnasium, an updated scoreboard in that same gymnasium, and then some things like updated window graphics to match the rest of the campus. We’ve done quite a bit of graphics and new signage on the rest of the campus so now we’re set to do that same thing at our Middle School building. Other items on that list, we need to get the parking lots resurfaced and we are looking at an update to the PA system at the Junior/Senior High School as well.”
The funding for the projects, at an estimated cost of $435,000, will come from money left over from the completion of the recent project at the North Judson-San Pierre Elementary School.
