The Oregon-Davis School Board discussed early release for students on Monday, April 8 in anticipation of the solar eclipse event.
Schools around the state have also discussed and made decisions to close school for the day or release students early as the solar eclipse is forecast to happen around the time school is released for the day.
For the safety of students and bus drivers, the Oregon-Davis School Corporation will be dismissing early Monday, April 8. The Elementary School will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. CT and the Jr./Sr. High School will be dismissed at 12:30 pm. CT.
