The Winamac Town Council recently approved an ordinance that would annex real property in the Incorporated Town of Winamac.
A petition was submitted for the annexation of over 100 acres by 100 percent of the landowners that reside in the proposed area and agree to the annexation. The properties are on 50 N., 100 N., and Sally Drive.
Land owned by North Plaza of Winamac, LLC, GALCO, Inc., and SVG, Inc. were proposed for annexation.
A public hearing was held on the matter with no public comments presented.
The ordinance was approved.
The ordinance became effective 15 days after the public hearing.
