Beginning this fall, visitors to the Eastern Pulaski School Corporation will have to follow steps with a new Visitor Management System in order to enter any building on campus.
Superintendent Dara Chezem said the school board approved the purchase of the system in a recent meeting.
“Legislation enacted last year requires schools to manage the authorized access of visitors on school property. We have purchased a Visitor Management System that will go into effect the fall of 2024. Visitors will scan their driver’s license into the system to be let into our schools. Those kiosks will be in the Middle School, Elementary School and High School secure entry places,” stated Chezem.
The Visitor Management System is a three-year subscription at a cost of $6,120 over the course of the three years.
