The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch that is in effect until Friday, April 12 for northern Indiana.
Excessive rainfall may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
Roads prone to high water issues may be closed upon inspection by highway department officials.
