Starke County Sheriff Jack Rosa invites residents to an open house set for tomorrow (Tuesday, April 23) at the Starke County Justice Center at 5435 E. State Road 8 in Knox.
The open house gives community members a chance to meet the deputies, dispatchers, jail and support staff. Sheriff Rosa will provide updates on what the department has been doing so far this year and future plans for the department.
Members of the Strategic Response Team will have several activities for attendees, detectives will be conducting mock crime scenes, there will be a jail tour, and the Dispatch Center will have a booth set up as well. There will be discussion surrounding the new rapid SOS system that will assist emergency responders in the event of a 911 situation.
The open house will be tomorrow from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. CT.
