The Oregon-Davis School Board members recently took action on a recommendation to approve summer school dates and times for students.
Superintendent Bill Bennett said Junior/Senior High School students will attend summer school July 15-August 2 while the Elementary School students will attend summer school July 22-August 2. Summer school gives students a chance at earning credits ahead of the school year or participate in remediation to achieve better understanding of certain subjects.
Additionally, the board approved the corporation’s Summer Agriculture Experience class for 8th grade and Junior/Senior High School students. This program will run for most of the summer months for a chance for students to learn high school credits.
