The Hive, a local women’s giving circle started through the Starke County Community Foundation, is accepting video grant applications now through the first of May.
Video applications provide organizations the opportunity to personalize their requests, communicate their passion, and include project team members.
Video applications and associated budget sheets are due by 5 p.m. Central on Wednesday, May 1. Dues paying members of The Hive will cast their votes to determine grant amounts for finalists during their annual gathering on Saturday, May 18, 10 a.m. Central, at the Chesapeake Run Golf Club.
Annual membership dues for women ages 23 and up is $120 while members 16 – 22 can pay a reduced amount of $60 a year. Since 2018, The Hive has granted nearly $40,000 to charitable organizations that are making a positive impact in Starke County.
