The Knox City Council will meet tonight where they will open a public hearing to take comments on the voluntary annexation of State Road 35 with several ordinances to consider for approval on first reading and a resolution pertaining to the proposed annexation following public comment.
The council will also consider the second and third reading of an ordinance that pertains to user fees and garbage removal services.
Clerk-Treasurer Cyndi Mann-Kidder and Mayor Dennis Estok will have regular reports for the council.
The Knox City Council will meet at 6 p.m. CT tonight at the Knox City Hall at 101 W. Washington Street in Knox.
