A La Porte woman was arrested Monday, May 20 after a traffic stop was conducted in the area of North Prettyman Street in Knox.
According to the Knox City Police Department, during the traffic stop, officers reportedly recovered paraphernalia, methamphetamine, and marijuana. The driver, 32-year-old Susan Dennis, was taken into custody and transported to the Starke County Justice Center where she was booked on preliminary charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
Formal charges will be determined by the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
