North Judson Town Council Gets Update on Park Improvement Project

The North Judson Town Council members received an update on an the Town Park improvement project this week.

Town Manager Joe Leszek explained that a lot of the dirt work is being done to make way for the installation of playground equipment. The asphalt for the pickleball courts and the basketball courts will be poured this week and the sidewalk installation is ongoing throughout the park. By the time that phase is done, the walking trail work will be wrapping up. Leszek said by the end of June, the pickleball courts will be ready, the basketball courts will be ready for public use along with the walking trail around the park.

When all of that work is complete, the park will be turned over to workers who will be installing the playground equipment.

Storyboards will also be included by the North Judson-Wayne Township Public Library as well as cornhole boards, a natural playground and a pergola.
