National Police Officer Memorial Week is being observed this week, May 12-May 18.
The month of May is very significant to all law enforcement with National Police Week. Starke County Sheriff Jack Rosa said while fallen brothers and sisters in blue are honored every day, this is the week that we all honor those brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The Starke County Sheriff’s Office will hold a memorial service Thursday, May 16 at 9:30 a.m. CT with an inspection, and a keynote speaker will present words in remembrance and reflection.
