It is the wonderful time of year to celebrate Starke County’s mint crop with the North Judson Mint Festival!
The 47th Annual North Judson Mint Festival gets underway Friday, June 14 with the Taste of North Judson at noon which will feature favorite festival culinary choices.
The official start features the opening ceremony at 5 p.m. at the Norwayne Field pavilion, followed by the introduction of the Queen/King and Mint Darlings, and father and grandfather of the year awards.
The Crossroads Band will play from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with Whiskey Thomas from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. CT at Norwayne Field.
The festival continues Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16. Details will be provided in tomorrow’s news.
