Dr. Walter Fritz is celebrating 50 years of service to the residents of the community and the community is invited to be part of the celebration.
The Knox-Winamac Community Health Center is hosting a celebration in his honor Friday, July 26 from noon to 2 p.m. CT at the facility at 1002 Edgewood Drive.
Dr. Fritz talked with Rich Wallen from the WKVI Morning Show about the next phase after retirement.
“I am leaving the practice of medicine completely, but this is going to allow me to spend more time at home at Ober catching up with a lot of the time I’ve gotten behind with my wife, the great outdoors, being increasingly physically active and, hopefully, being a resource for knowledge from experience for years to come.”
