Culver Town Council Approves Advertisement for Park Superintendent

The Culver Town Council members approved a motion during their meeting July 25 to advertise for a new park superintendent.

Amber Cowell is resigning as park superintendent. She has served in that capacity for the last five years. Her last day as superintendent is August 9.

She said will be moving to a project assistant position for an engineering company.

Culver Town Manager Kevin Danti told the council that Cowell has put together a new job description for the position and will look at that when choosing the next superintendent.

In other news, the council agreed to take applications for a new member for the Culver Redevelopment Commission. Erika James has resigned from her seat as she has moved out of town limits. It is a council president appointment and applications will be accepted until Friday, August 16 at the Culver Town Hall at the end of the business day.
