The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members held a reorganization meeting Tuesday, July 9 where a new president was appointed.
Superintendent Kelly Shepherd said Doug Wilde was installed in the president’s seat. Cameron Stalbuam remains as vice president of the board and Sandy Kersting Rudd remains as secretary.
The board will continue meeting for their regular meetings on the third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. CT in the Central Office Board Meeting Room.
Shepherd said a special meeting was held following the reorganization meeting to hire Angie Radtke as the new Middle School Principal.
“Angie is originally from North Judson. She has been at West Central Schools the last five school years at the building level in administration as building principal. It’s kind of a homecoming for her to come to us. We are reconfiguring moving our middle-level grades back to more of a traditional Middle School. She is going to be in charge of grades 5-8,” said Shepherd.
Shepherd said work has been done to reconfigure the Elementary School to include grades K-4, Middle School grades 5-8, and High School grades 9-12.
The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 7.
