North Judson-San Pierre School Board to Reorganize Today

The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members will hold a reorganization meeting today where they will have the oath of office and hold elections for president, vice president and secretary.

Appointments will be made to the positions of business manager, purchasing agent and treasurer; school attorney; board of finance; negotiations team; and bid opening committee.

The board members will also made a decision on board member compensation, and establish regular meeting dates, times and place.

Immediately following the reorganization meeting, the board will meet in special session to approve personnel action.

The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members will meet at 8 a.m. CT today in the Central Office Board meeting room at 801 Campbell Drive in North Judson.

During the last meeting of the North Judson-San Pierre School Board, Superintendent Kelly Shepherd said the board accepted several generous donations.

“In relation to purchasing a 3-D printer for STEM instruction, a $523 donation came from the Northern Indiana Community Foundation, and they also provided $1,477 to help us start up a STEM class at the secondary level. The Good Oil Company made a donation if $1,600 to the High School football team,” said Shepherd.
