Pulaski County 4-H Fair Continues Today

The Pulaski County 4-H Fair continues today.

A 4-H blood drive fundraiser is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET by the Fair Office, immunizations and lead testing will be conducted by the Pulaski County Health Department from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the commercial building, child IDs will be done by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the south commercial building, the ultimate showman is at 5 p.m., the American Red Cross Whale Tales and water safety for kids will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the south commercial building, the kids carnival at 7 p.m., the create a crown event with Miss Pulaski County at 7 p.m., Mike Almon will perform live on the entertainment stage, and all animals not going to auction will be released at 9 p.m. ET.

The parade is tonight at 6 p.m. ET. The parade route will start at Logan Street and Main Street (Firestation) proceeding south on Logan Street to Washington Street, turning east on Washington Street to the park entrance, entering the park and ending at the 4-H Fairgrounds. All large farm equipment entries or other large vehicles are encouraged not to enter the park. The registration table for this year’s parade will be located on Logan St on the West side of the Human Services Building.

The Winamac Kiwanis Club is also pleased to announce the Grand Marshal for this year’s parade will be 2023 Halleck Award winner Mike O’Connor.

Enjoy viewing the projects the 4-H participants have worked hard to present for judging and showcasing at the fair in the exhibit buildings.

WKVI will be broadcasting live at the fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
