The Starke County Park Board members will meet tonight where they will open bids and award one bid for the Yellow River kayak launch at English Lake.
The board members will also look at the revised 2025 budget and discuss assignments of board members to all areas of responsibilities with the parks. The board will look at a policy for volunteer compensation versus employment.
The board looks to appoint Gary Laiter for the Harbor Master position, who will discuss pier replacement.
A picnic table update will also be given.
The Starke County Park Board will meet at 6 p.m. CT tonight in the ground floor meeting room of the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
