Starke County Republican Caucus Finds New North Judson Town Council Member

Starke County Clerk Bernadette Manuel swears in Eric Lewandowski into office

A new member has been chosen for the Ward 3 seat left open on the North Judson Town Council by the resignation of James Young at the beginning of June.

A Starke County Republican Party Caucus was held Monday, July 1 where three eligible precinct committeemen voted for the next councilman.

The precinct committeemen asked questions of the two candidates, Anthony Dye and Eric Lewandowski, many different aspects of serving as a North Judson Town Councilman, how they would address certain issues and what they would like to see as the town progresses.

In the end, the precinct committeemen chose Lewandowski to fill the seat.
