Starke County Democratic Chairman Lonnie Boley has called two party Caucus events for tonight (Monday, July 22) to fill vacant seats for two county positions.
Eligible Democratic Precinct Committeemen will be able to vote on the candidates to fill the vacant seat for Starke County Auditor, and a seat on the Railroad Township Advisory Board.
Interested candidates have already submitted paperwork as necessary to the Starke County Clerk’s Office and to Boley for the purpose of the Caucus. The Caucus events will be held tonight at 5 p.m. CT at the Nancy. J. Dembowski Community Center at 55 Lake Street in Knox.
