Eastern Pulaski School Board Accepts Donations, Approves Surplus Items

The Eastern Pulaski School Board agreed to accept generous donations during their meeting Monday, August 12.

Superintendent Dara Chezem said the board is grateful for the community’s generosity.

“We had the First Presbyterian Church of Winamac donate $2,500 for our Elementary Life Skills classroom,” said Chezem. “We had an anonymous donation for $10,000 toward Eastern Pulaski teachers grants. We are very thankful for our community for always supporting our staff.”

Chezem said the board also approved several items as surplus to be featured in an upcoming auction.

“We have a floor scrubber that needs some work on it, two plastic salad bars and some old welders that just are not standardized for training purposes and so we are going to be auctioning off those through the website.”

Those items will be listed on the school’s website at www.epulaski.k12.in.us.
