The Hamlet Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred in the early morning hours Saturday, August 3.
According to police, the home invasion occurred in the 600 block of Starke Street in Hamlet. Two residents were transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the incident. One is in critical condition, according to the report.
The Hamlet Police Department is asking the public to bring forward any information related to this incident. The Hamlet Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Knox City Police Department, and Starke County EMS.
