North Judson Town Council Discusses 2025 Budget

The North Judson Town Council members discussed the 2025 budget when they met last week.

Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe presented the council with Form 1 documents. Two sidewalk projects have been included in the budget and the match for the Community Crossings Matching Grant project within the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund.

According to the Notice to Taxpayers on the Indiana Gateway website, the General Fund is estimated at just over $1 million, the Local Road and Street Fund at $10,000, Motor Vehicle Highway at about $377,000, Continuing Education at $3,450, Park at about $50,000, Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund, $6,500, Cumulative Capital Development at $17,500, Economic Development Income Tax CEDIT at about $152,000, and Local Road and Bridge Matching Grant at $363,000.

The estimated Civil Max Levy is $696,128.

The public hearing for the budget is set for Tuesday, September 3 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the North Judson Town Hall at 310 Lane Street in North Judson. The budget adoption date is Monday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the North Judson Town Hall.
