The North Judson Town Council members got an update on the Town Park improvement project when they met Monday, August 19.
Mike Reese from The Troyer Group said that the project should be substantially complete by mid-September. The pavilion and the playground should be complete in the next few weeks. The playground surface is really the main thing left in that part of the project.
Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe said the five picnic tables donated by the Ober Arbor Gleaners organization have been ordered and will arrive soon.
DNR officials will inspect the area as the town was the recipient of a Land and Water Conservation Grant to help fund the project.
The park will have several new features including sidewalks, a walking trail, two pickleball courts, a pavilion with picnic tables, permanent cornhole boards, and beach volleyball. The basketball court was also resurfaced.
