The Oregon-Davis School Board members received an update on the HVAC project when they met Wednesday, August 21.
Superintendent Bill Bennett said the High School is fully operating now with just one unit. The second unit was set Wednesday and full installation will be complete during fall break, but will be used as a redundancy unit in case there is an issue with the primary unit. Bennett commented that the gymnasium was still a little warm, but they will look at the controls and adjust that as things progress.
The Elementary School HVAC project is mainly complete as a few components are waiting to be installed. He said there should be cooler air in the Elementary School before the weather hits another hot spell next week.
Work is also being done on the dome as there were some issues discovered after previous work was done.
