Oregon-Davis School Superintendent Bill Bennett updated the school board last week on the corporation’s ongoing HVAC project.
During the last meeting, Bennett stated that chiller units were delayed in arriving at the corporation which prompted the delay in the start of school one week. There were discussions on different solutions to provide an adequate learning environment if the units did not arrive in time to welcome students back to class.
Bennett said the board was relieved to hear last week that the units are on campus and will be installed this week. The delayed start will give maintenance staff members a chance to ensure that things are running properly and areas are clear of any debris before students enter the buildings for class.
