The San Pierre Spirit of Summer Festival begins today, hosted by the San Pierre Parks and Recreation Society, Inc.
Tonight is the Cruise in at the San Pierre Park that begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. CT. Music will be provided by 30 South and attendees can enjoy seeing classic cars, a beer garden and food vendors.
Saturday’s events include the flag raising at 8 a.m. CT by members of the American Legion Post #92 in North Judson at the San Pierre Park – located between Eliza Street and Phoebe Street. The Dog Face Bridge 5K Run/Walk is at 8 a.m. with registration at that time, a breakfast food truck at 8 a.m., a dunk tank and bounce houses from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., a car, bike and tractor show at noon with registration at 10 a.m., a cornhole tournament at 11 a.m. with registration at 10 a.m., music from noon to 6 p.m., arts and craft booths, food vendors, and other activities all day.
