The Winamac Town Council members will meet tonight where they will hold a public hearing regarding the town’s application to the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs for a grant from the Community Development Block Grant Planning program.
Following the public hearing, the council will hold its regular monthly meeting where the Pulaski Tribe, Mainstreet Group, and Claude LeMere will present comments to the council.
Town Manager Brad Zellers will have a downtown lighting project. Clerk-Treasurer Kendra Craft will present a resolution for council consideration that would authorize the OCRA application submission and local match commitment. She will also have a petition for annexation.
The electric superintendent, water and street superintendent, wastewater superintendent and police chief will have regular reports.
The Winamac Town Council will open the public hearing at 6 p.m. ET with the regular meeting set to follow at the Winamac Utilities Complex at 623 W. 11th Street.
