Francesville Fall Festival to Begin Today!

The Francesville Fall Festival begins today (Friday, September 20) and continues through Sunday, September 22.

The vegetable contest is today uptown from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET, the fire department fish and chicken dinner is at 4:30 p.m. at the fire station, the baby dinosaur meet and greet is at 6 p.m. uptown, the Master Crackerjack and Miss Kandy Korn pageant is at 6:30 p.m. at the big tent, the Tri-Kickers line dance is at 7 p.m., the Heritage Quartet is at 8 p.m., and chicken bingo at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday’s activities include the Medaryville Nursery School breakfast at 7 a.m. ET at the fire station, the family fun run at 8 a.m., the 3-on-3 basketball tournament at 8 a.m., vendor booths open at 9 a.m., the little nubbins hustle at 10 a.m., kids games start at 10 a.m., the dinosaur meet and greet at 10:30 a.m., enter bake contest items at 11 a.m. with judging at 11:30 a.m. at the fire station, the golf cart obstacle course at 11 a.m. at the grassy lot, bingo from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Jungle John at noon, chicken bingo at 12:30 p.m., the parade is at 2 p.m. with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department as the Grand Marshal, the bake auction after the parade, Kyle Hurd will perform at 4 p.m at the gazebo, the Humanitarian Distribution Center chicken dinner is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the fire station, dinosaurs uptown at 4:30 p.m., the triathlon at 4:30 p.m., Francesville Live at 7 p.m., the Harvest Dance by Nemesis Band at 8:30 p.m. and fireworks at dusk in downtown Francesville.

Sunday’s activities include the auto show from noon to 3 p.m. with entries accepted at 8 a.m., worship services at 8:30 a.m., vendor booths open at 10 a.m., the cornhole tournament at 11 a.m., the festival chicken alfredo/spaghetti dinner at 11:30 a.m., Aaron Paulsen music at noon, bingo from noon to 3 p.m., the garden tractor pull at 1 p.m., the peddle tractor pull at 1 p.m., Abate Motorcycle for kids at 2 p.m., and chicken bingo at 3:30 p.m. ET.

There will be plenty of opportunities to shop at a variety of arts and craft booths and the flea market. Shop local businesses and enjoy plenty of food, and entertainment for the kids.
