Firefighters with the Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Department were called to a trailer fire at the Country Acres Mobile Home Park Thursday, September 5 a few minutes before 8 a.m. CT at 504 N. Starke Street at Lot 60.
Fire Chief Brad Hazelton told WKVI News that the fire was contained to the kitchen area of the structure. He said one occupant was taken to the hospital with burns. He added that the cause is undetermined.
The Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Department was assisted by the Knox-Center Township Fire Department, Starke County EMS, and the Hamlet Police Department.
