The Hamlet Town Council members will hold a public hearing on the 2025 budget during their regular meeting Wednesday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Hamlet Town Hall at 10 S. Starke Street.
According to the Notice to Taxpayers on the Indiana Gateway website, the General Fund is advertised at about $370,000, Local Road and Street at $8,000, Motor Vehicle Highway at $64,500 the Park Fund at $12,100, Cumulative Capital Improvement at $6,000, Cumulative Capital Development at $9,000, Economic Development Fund at $80,000, Special Fire Protection Territory General Fund at $107,000, and Special Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund at $20,000.
The estimated Civil Max Levy is $314,265.
The council members will adopt the budget during their October 9 meeting.
