The Knox City Council members will meet tonight where they will open a public hearing on the 2025 budget.
According to the Notice to Taxpayers on the Indiana Gateway website, the General Fund budget is at $2.75 million, the Police Pension Fund at $90,525, the Local Road and Street Fund is $50,000, the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund at $478,000, Fire Equipment Fund at $120,644, Park and Recreation at $181,000, Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund at $12,000, Cumulative Capital Development Fund at $60,000, and the Economic Development Income Tax Fund at $728,000.
Reports from Clerk-Treasurer Cyndi Mann-Kidder and Mayor Dennis Estok will be given to the council.
The Knox City Council will meet at 6 p.m. CT tonight at the Knox City Hall at 101 W. Washington Street.
