The North Judson Town Council members took action Monday, September 16 to adopt the 2025 budget.
According to the Notice to Taxpayers on the Indiana Gateway website, the total estimated General Fund budget is $1,066,000, Local Road and Street is about $377,000, Continuing Education at $3,450, Park Department at $50,054, Cumulative Capital Improvement at $6,500, Cumulative Capital Development at $17,500, the Economic Development Income Tax is about $152,000, and the Local Road and Bridge Matching Grant is $363,000.
A Baker Tilly representative went over the budget with the council who commented on anticipated cash flows, revenues and expenditures. She determined a cash positive year and overall the town looks to be in good shape in terms of budget appropriations and spending and all funds.
The council unanimously approved the second and third reading of the budget resolution as presented.
