The Starke County Community Foundation encourages local charitable organizations to submit their applications for the Starke County Community Wellness Grant, which was developed to help programs and projects working to enhance the overall wellness of the community. Applications are due Friday, October 4, by end-of-day.
This grant opportunity is made possible by the Starke County Wellness Fund, a field-of-interest fund within the Foundation that focuses on supporting projects and programs that address critical wellness needs within the county. Areas of interest for this year’s application include mental health and access to mental health services; substance use disorders, overdose prevention, education, treatment, and recovery; expansion of health services, including those who are underserved; dental and oral health services; Obesity, physical inactivity, nutrition, and chronic disease education and prevention.
