The Starke County Council will meet today where they will adopt the 2025 county budgets.
The council will also hear from IT Director Stanley Budd about paying his IT assistant and discuss pauper council with Knox City Court representatives.
A rough draft of the County Council manual of policy procedure for consideration will be given to the council members.
The Council members will also consider additional appropriations, a salary ordinance for the County General Fund, a resolution to authorize funds transfer, and an ordinance that establishes a fund for solar revenue and expenditures.
Several other documents will be considered surrounding confirmatory resolutions for the establishment of an Economic Revitalization Area and the granting of assessed-value deduction for the Starke Central project and the North Bend solar project. There will also be consideration of a preliminary resolution for the establishment of an Economic Revitalization Area for the Dunns Bridge Solar II, LLC solar project.
The Starke County Council will meet at 4:30 p.m. CT today in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
