The Winamac Town Council members held a public hearing concerning the 2025 budget Monday night.
According to the Notice to Taxpayers on the Indiana Gateway website, the General Fund is just over $1.3 million, the Local Income Tax Fund is $57,000, Local Road and Street is $65,000, Motor Vehicle Highway is $287,000, Continuing Education Fund is $10,000, the Park Fund is just under $200,000, the Cemetery Fund is $90,100, Cumulative Capital Development is $22,000, the Sanitation Fund is $163,000, the Special Bequest Mooi Trust is about $4,300 and the Home Rule Fund is at $1,000.
Town Manager Brad Zellers told WKVI that there were no public comments during the hearing.
The council members plan to adopt the budget during their next meeting Monday, October 14 at 6 p.m. ET.
