Welding students at the Winamac Community High School will receive personal protective equipment thanks to a generous donation from BraunAbility.
The company donated over $10,000 to cover the cost of PPE for first-year welding students. Those 17 students will keep the equipment through the two-year program and after graduation.
It is BraunAbility’s hope that these students will graduate with the skills and confidence to enter the local manufacturing workforce.
The welding program is in its second year at Winamac Community High School and there is currently a waiting list to welcome students.
