Early in-person voting numbers in Starke County and in Pulaski County are coming in at a great rate ahead of the November General Election.
Starke County Clerk Bernadette Manuel told WKVI News that 3,215 people have voted in person while 518 ballots have been mailed to voters and 397 of those returned.
Pulaski County Clerk JoLynn Behny said 1,722 people have voted early in-person with 250 ballots mailed out and 195 of those ballots returned. Nine out of 10 overseas ballots have been returned.
Voters will be able to cast a ballot at the polls in one week. In Starke County, the polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT at the Bass Lake-California Township Fire Department, James R Hardesty Community Building in Hamlet, Koontz Lake Sewer District building, North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department, Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center in Knox, the Railroad Township/San Pierre Fire Department, and the Washington Township Community Building.
In Pulaski County, the polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET at the Francesville Fire Station, Medaryville Christian Church Annex, Star City Community Center, Monterey Town Hall, and Pulaski County Highway Garage.
