Firefighters were called to a structure fire Tuesday, October 15 at 504 N. Starke Street in Hamlet.
Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Department Chief Brad Hazelton said firefighters were called to the scene at 12:41 p.m. CT. The fire was kept to a single room and the cause was accidental.
There were no injuries.
The Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Department was assisted by the Knox-Center Township Fire Department, Koontz Lake-Oregon Township Fire Department, Hamlet Police Department, Starke County Sheriff’s Department and Starke County EMS.
